About Us
Jon Hiller, CEO
Jon founded Sevanta in 2025 in partnership with Pine Walk. Jon has over 20 years’ experience across Lloyd’s, London, and various International Casualty markets. His most recent position was SVP and Head of International Casualty in the London Market for Sompo. Prior to this, working at QBE Europe, Chubb, JLT, and AIG.
Mark Hill, Head of Excess Casualty – US
Mark has over 40 years’ experience in the US casualty market, having worked in London, Bermuda and Dublin. His most recent position was Head of Excess Casualty, National accounts, in the London market for Everest Insurance. Prior to this, Mark has worked for Ironshore, Lexington, Aon, Heath Lambert, Miller and J.H. Minet.
George Hutton, Senior Underwriter & Co-Founder
George has 10 years’ experience across London and International markets including secondments to Dubai and Toronto. Most recently, George was Portfolio Manager, Wholesale & Specialty Casualty at Sompo.
Tom Fairman, Senior Underwriter & Principal
Tom has 8 years’ experience across London and internation markets. Tom’s career to date has been focused on the International Liability market with previous emphasis on the Canadian and Australian territories. Tom has prior experience at QBE and most recently held the position of AVP Underwriter at Sompo.
Will Payne, Underwriting Assistant
Will joined Sevanta as an Underwriting Assistant in February 2025, marking his first role in the London Market. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc in International Business and gained valuable industry exposure through work experience at W.R. Berkley and Allied World.
Louise Cashman, Senior Underwriting Technician
Louise has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry. Specialising in North American Casualty, with a strong background in supporting underwriters across complex risks and performance management.
Danielle Bond, Underwriting & Business Performance Lead
Danielle has over 20 years experience in the industry. She specialises in operational reporting, financial analysis, compliance, and supporting underwriting teams. With a background in leadership reporting and change management, Danielle brings a strong mix of analytical skills, adaptability, and collaboration driving business performance to deliver results.
